*Finally* managed to get back to doing a good bit of programming again today and was reasonably pleased at the amount and content of what I did.

Found myself looking at code and going "wtf" was I doing there? So whilst I did in fact complete the bug list I had to work from some of the items needed additional work that I spotted (reading and writing data being one of them).

But all told Im quite happy.

The only drugs that have entered my system have been nicoteine, caffeine and two single skinners (which were very enjoyable thankyou very much seeing as I havent smoked any since last week *and* have had no other substances now (inc valium) since Sunday)

Wow... as its now 2:30 on Wednesday.

Got enough for another two singles which I may or may not smoke tomorrow but Andy will pester the hell out of me for it so... once thats gone im back off that too. No druggies for Tammie ;-)

For the first time, deep down, I feel as if Ive beaten this addiction. Including the cannabis one... even though I enjoyed those two wee smokes... its drugs... and those I simply do not want nor care about anymore.

Andy... well... hes another kettle of fish. He ripped his methadone prescription up then appeared about an hour later saying mum had given him a fiver for 6 cans of beer to 'celebrate'. Except when I asked mum she said no, hed told her he "needed" two cans... thats a different story so Im really gonna have to sit on him these coming days as he can be a real fly wee shite.

But... as the saying goes... never kid a kidder and my brain is starting to function... try gettin away with that again Andy my boy!!! Tams eye is on you.

<shrug> Yesterday set him back but in the grand scheme he is in fact now into day 23 (and a bit) of totally without methadone... but yesterdays antics/carry on will kick his arse from now till about Monday.

Been there, got the t-shirt, wrote the blog. So I'm just the chap to help him/shout at him/cuddle him when he needs it.

Given yesterday... I'd call that a good day all said and done.
